UNFPA lauds China's efforts in fighting COVID-19, joining global cooperation

China has made great efforts in containing the COVID-19 outbreak, and is watchful of its resurgence. UNFPA provided the government of China with assistance in the fight against the epidemic in China's Hubei Province, including offering diapers and sanitary pads, to assure the dignity of women and female health workers.

UNFPA delivers medical supplies to Hubei

As part of the United Nations response to support the Government of China's efforts to contain and mitigate the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak in China, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is delivering critical medical supplies and sanitary items such as sanitary napkins and diapers for the frontline health workers, women - particularly pregnant women - and girls in Hubei province, the epicenter of the epidemic.
