The UNFPA China Office is recruiting two national consultants (one senior consultant and one junior consultant), as a team, to conduct the study on son preference and Gender-biased Sex Selection (GBSS) in selected provinces with high Sex Ratio at Birth (SRB) in China. Individual consultant can submit his/her own application either as team leader (senor consultant) or team member (junior consultant) of this assignment. It is also welcomed that a team with two consultants submit the application for this assignment. For more information, please refer to the Terms of Reference (TOR).
Interested candidates should submit the following documents (in English) with their applications:
- Cover letter expressing her/his interest, including relevant experience and expertise, competencies required for this assignment, and proposed daily consultancy rate.
- A Curriculum Vita that includes contact information of three references.
- Copy of two recent relevant research reports as examples.
